Rick McMinn

Rick is an experienced CPA in Marshall, Texas, and has been working in East Texas since 1979 preparing individual, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns. Rick has the tools and expertise needed to help you reach your financial goals. Rick graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University, Magna Cum Laude, in 1979 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.

Kyle Pope

CPA/Shareholder

Kyle is a licensed CPA that began working at McMinn, Pope, Woodfin & Shaw P.C. in 2011.  Kyle has experience preparing federal and state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and tax exempt entities.  He is experienced using and advising on Quickbooks for small businesses.  Kyle graduated from East Texas Baptist University, Summa Cum Laude, in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.  Kyle is eager to help you with your tax and accounting needs. 

Nathan Jones

CPA/Shareholder

Nathan is a licensed CPA who joined McMinn, Pope, Woodfin & Shaw P.C. in 2025. He brings more than a decade of public accounting experience, with extensive expertise in tax planning and preparation for individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, trusts, and estates. He is a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and is highly proficient in QuickBooks Desktop, enabling him to provide clients with tailored, practical accounting solutions. Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Texas Baptist University.

Jordan Shaw

CPA/Shareholder

Jordan is a licensed CPA who joined the firm in November of 2017. He is a native resident of Marshall and Marshall High School alumnus. After high school, he earned a bachelor of science from Texas Tech University in 2012 and received his Masters of Accountancy from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2017. Jordan previously managed the audit and attest division of the firm specializing in governmental and not-for-profit audits. He is also experienced in preparing individual, corporate and partnership tax returns.

Mary Rhyne

Accountant

Mary is an accountant that has been working in East Texas since 1984. After working as a secretary / bookkeeper for the Cass County Appraisal District for ten years, Mary joined the team at McMinn, Pope, Woodfin & Shaw, P.C. in June of 1997 and has been a cherished member ever since. Mary attended Kilgore College and Texarkana College. She is married to David Rhyne, and they have three children and five grandchildren.

Glenda Marsh

Accountant

Glenda is an accountant that has been working with for McMinn, Pope, Woodfin & Shaw, P.C. since 1994. Prior to joining our team, Glenda worked as an escrow officer and land title researcher at Moseley Abstract Company. Glenda is married to Rusty Marsh and has two children and three grandchildren.
